students and families. By enrolling, parents/guardians agree to follow these terms to ensure a safe, structured, and effective learning environment.
1. First 90-Day Adjustment Period
The first 90 days of enrollment are an adjustment period. Students must attend regularly, participate, and complete assigned work. Concerns must be addressed early. After this period, late concerns may not result in major academic changes.
2. Academic Responsibility
Students must maintain attendance, participation, and completion of coursework. The school cannot evaluate academic level accurately without consistent attendance and work completion.
3. Parent Responsibility
Parents are responsible for ensuring attendance, supporting learning at home, and addressing concerns early. The school does not replace parental responsibility.
4. Learning Difficulties & Documentation
If a learning difficulty is suspected, parents must obtain professional evaluation and provide documentation. Without documentation, standard academic expectations apply.
5. Academic Placement Testing
If a student is placed incorrectly, the school may conduct assessments in subjects such as Math or English.
Placement decisions are based on testing, performance, and teacher evaluation.
6. Timeline for Academic Concerns
All concerns must be raised within the first 90 days or first semester. Late-year changes are not guaranteed.
7. Program Structure & Attendance
In-person attendance is required for school-based documentation. Pod/umbrella programs are separate and do not qualify for local attendance records.
8. Financial Responsibility
Fees must be paid on time. Continued enrollment depends on financial compliance.
9. School Limitations
The school provides education only and does not offer legal, immigration, or personal services.
10. Home-Based Learning Policy
Students not attending school must arrange independent tutoring. School staff will not provide home instruction.
11. Safeguarding Policy
All learning must take place in safe, supervised environments. Staff are not permitted to conduct lessons in private homes or unsupervised locations.
12. External Tutoring
External tutors may be recommended but are not school staff and are not supervised by the school.
13. Teacher Tutoring Policy
School teachers may provide extra support only with approval and only on school premises or approved platforms. No cafes, homes, or informal locations are permitted.
14. Safeguarding & Professional Boundaries
All interactions must remain professional and occur within school-approved settings to protect students and staff.
15. Policy Agreement
Enrollment confirms agreement to all policies in this handbook. Failure to comply may result in withdrawal from the program. This Policy can be updated to reflect new situations that arise.
